1. Scope and Acceptance

The client expressly accepts these terms and conditions of sale when making a reservation for the temporary rental of a property managed by Lake Chapala Rentals. Any modification or additional agreement must be made in writing and approved by both parties. These terms apply exclusively to the lodging intermediation between property owners and guests for short-, medium-, or long-term rentals.

2. Payment Terms

All reservations must be paid in advance to be confirmed. Full payment guarantees the availability of the property for the requested dates. In case of cancellation, the specific cancellation policies stated in each listing or corresponding agreement will apply.

3. International Tax Withholding

If the client’s country requires tax withholding at the source, such withholding will be the sole responsibility of the client. The full invoice amount must be paid without deductions for local or international tax obligations. Lake Chapala Rentals is not responsible for any costs arising from the client’s local legislation.

4. Scope of Services

Lake Chapala Rentals commits to coordinating the rental-related services in a timely and proper manner, according to the agreed terms. However, no specific result is guaranteed beyond what is stated in the property listing and terms of use. Lake Chapala Rentals shall not, under any circumstances, be required to act as a third party in legal disputes initiated by guests or end consumers.

5. Claims and Complaints

Any complaints related to service quality or the stay itself must be submitted in writing within 8 calendar days following the end of the stay. Such complaints must be directed to the assigned service executive, who will act as the official point of contact for resolution.

6. Applicable Law

All contractual relations shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the state of Jalisco, Mexico.
