Bedroom #4, also known as "the TV room," has a double sofa bed, a full bath, and a large smart TV.The house also features a very large, floor-to-ceiling glassed room with a seating area, a dry bar with a refrigerator, and a teak dining set for 8, offering a view of the mountain and flower garden.The entire house and garden/pool area have high-speed WiFi provided through an internal mesh network. The double garage is remotely operated and provides access to both the front door and the patio door of each bedroom. The small front yard inside the property wall is equipped with a gas BBQ, seating area, and water fountain. The pool terrace offers a dining set for 8 people covered with a giant offset umbrella. The pool itself is 5 feet deep and ideal for low-impact pool workouts, with a submerged bench along one wall for a comfortable relaxing experience. The natural stone terrace is surrounded by flowers and also offers a large fountain that creates a serene environment.The rooftop terrace offers two zero-gravity chairs where you can enjoy stunning views of the mountains.Guest access:

Casa Janie is ideal for socializing and exploring Ajijic. If you come for a weekend, you won't want to leave. More than 2 days will give you the opportunity to walk through the beautiful streets of La Floresta and the town of Ajijic. You are close to everything. You can walk to restaurants, shops, cinema, banks, ATMs, pharmacy, etc. The main square of Ajijic is only a 12-minute walk away.Our home is perfectly located in the exclusive Lower La Floresta neighborhood of Ajijic. A beautiful park to walk your pet is accessible right across the one-way street. We are close enough to walk everywhere and far enough to avoid all the noise and traffic of the Centro or main road. We are one block away from the weekly tiangis (farmer’s market) and two blocks away from an access ramp to the lake for paddle boards and kayaks. The Centro and boardwalk (Malecon) are about a 15-minute slow walk away. The house is gated and in a very safe neighborhood. We provide access to a small safe for your valuables. A gardener visits for about 2 hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and a pool maintenance person maintains the pool twice a week. Both only have access to the grounds, not the house. You may request semi-weekly or weekly cleaning during long stays for a small additional fee.Our co-hosts are real estate professionals. In the afternoon, we will explore the restaurants and spas in the subdivision, visit San Juan Cosala (famous for its hot springs), Ajijic (15 minutes away), Chapala, or Jocotepec.Accommodation: The house overlooks the beautiful Lake Chapala, Mexico's largest lake. Use of the private clubhouse, which includes pools, tennis and pickleball courts, and shaded picnic areas, is included for stays of more than 3 nights.Gastronomy: Along the Jocotepec-Chapala road, there are a number of quaint villages filled with sophisticated culinary delights. In our secluded mountain area, you will find several restaurants, offering a variety of international haute cuisine and high-end Mexican gourmet food, along with cozy bars and fabulous, majestic views.Five minutes down the mountain, you'll find San Juan Cosalá and Jocotepec, charming Mexican towns full of small restaurants and traditional outdoor cafes. There you can discover typical Jalisco dishes such as birria and charalitos. Viva México restaurant, known for its delicious Mexican cuisine, is 2 blocks from the square in San Juan Cosalá. The popular Piedra Barrenada area is famous for its lakeside seafood and grassy restaurants. It's a lively spot full of crowds, where you can enjoy mariachi, norteño, banda, and salsa music.Fifteen minutes down the road towards Chapala is the expatriate enclave of Ajijic.
