Casa Janie is ideal for socializing and exploring Ajijic. If you come for a weekend, you won't want to leave. More than 2 days will give you the opportunity to walk through the beautiful streets of La Floresta and the town of Ajijic. You are close to everything. You can walk to restaurants, shops, cinema, banks, ATMs, pharmacy, etc. The main square of Ajijic is only a 12-minute walk away.Our home is perfectly located in the exclusive Lower La Floresta neighborhood of Ajijic. A beautiful park to walk your pet is accessible right across the one-way street. We are close enough to walk everywhere and far enough to avoid all the noise and traffic of the Centro or main road. We are one block away from the weekly tiangis (farmer’s market) and two blocks away from an access ramp to the lake for paddle boards and kayaks. The Centro and boardwalk (Malecon) are about a 15-minute slow walk away. The house is gated and in a very safe neighborhood. We provide access to a small safe for your valuables. A gardener visits for about 2 hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and a pool maintenance person maintains the pool twice a week. Both only have access to the grounds, not the house.
